By separating fan speed from engine speed, it adjusts cooling automatically based on real-time needs. A control unit, using signals from sensors or CAN networks, regulates an electric or electrohydraulic actuator to control fan speed.
Optional fan reversers keep radiator cores clean.

Control options: electric, electrohydraulic (open or closed circuit), and load-sensing. The flexible design allows fan placement even in tight spaces.
